Bex and Jo are off to a year at the fabled Metis Academy! Bex’s excitement to learn the full ins and outs of Sex Magic is matched only by Jo’s dread at being used as a Test Boy by all the horny girls! It seems like it’s going to be another kinky fun time in the Sex Mage World…

…until suddenly, it isn’t. Minutes after they arrive, the world goes black, inhuman growls sound out from the darkness, and screams of pain are cut short by the sounds of ripping meat and boiling blood. Metis Academy has been subsumed by a Terror Zone, and Jo and Bex must now make a desperate run for survival.

Metis Zone takes place in an off-shoot of my Sex Mage World setting, which posits alternate versions of Earth where all women gain sexual based psychic control powers over men. This game in particular touches on the cosmic horror aspects of the background lore that don't usually factor into the main stories.

Likewise, this is not a professionally-put together game project. It is "finished", but there is no music, it uses default RPG Maker assets, a stripped down battle system, and despite taking place in an erotic setting, there aren't any real "sex scenes".

I love the lore you established so far in each of your games about the Sex Magic. But this one, by far, is my most favorite. May not be everyone's preference, but it's one of mine. Always loved the more serious, horror tone.

Shame no one commented here yet. But thank you. I do hope to see more.

Thank you very much for the comment!

This side of the lore has been something I've always kept in the background in the stories, especially after I tried years ago to reboot it out of the SMW proper. But the concepts would not leave me alone, and I still find myself sneaking it into the stories now and again.

It's been nice, with these games, to tap into the deeper lore of the setting; this one in particular, I thought, would turn off a lot of people, but I had to get the idea out of me! It's gratifying to know some people enjoyed it, despite it being pretty far off from the usual SMW material. :)

I noticed. The darker, subtle, more sinister undertones blends seamlessly with the story you created so far. I know I'm repeating myself, and I do apologize for that, but it's something like this that has me loving your lore a lot.

Even if this one was a completely different in tone compared to the others, the game got me hooked. I've already introduced your games to a few friends on discord and they're enjoying from what I can tell since they're playing your stuff a little more often.

I'm still hyped to see your next project, though.   ^-^

Thanks again! I'm glad others are enjoying it, too!

As for the future, I don't really know when I'll get to another game project. These things kind of just come to me sporadically with years in between (Penetration was made back in 2017, and Metis in 2021). In the meantime, most of my focus has been writing the stories (also very sporadically). At some point, I'd like to do another game project, but not sure when or what yet.

So, sorry to say, but you'll probably be waiting a while for another game. In the meantime, you can check out my blog for various stories across various settings, if you haven't already.

Actually, I should probably add a link the description for that, I don't know why I didn't do that before. :V
